How we started

The Hash It Out Show! was born from the fiery passion of Jarryd “JB” Boyd, a die-hard sports fan bursting at the seams. He knew that the world of sports podcasting was calling him, starting locally with Louisiana high school sports. But, he couldn't go at it alone, so he called upon two sports broadcasters who have been in the game for a long time, VK Jones and George Pepis, to join him on this epic adventure. With a resounding "Yes!" from his friends, The Hash It Out Show! was officially launched, and the sports world would never be the same.

who we are

jarryd "jb the sports guy" boyd

Hey there, sports fans! I'm Jarryd Boyd, but you can call me JB The Sports Guy. I'm the creator behind The Hash It Out Show, a platform I created to give Louisiana High School sports the spotlight they deserve. As a former student-athlete, I know the struggles of balancing sports and academics, and I want to help these talented athletes and coaches reach their full potential. Let's take Louisiana High School sports to the next level!

But that's not all, folks. I'm also the proud owner of Boyd's ATA Black Belt Academy in Marrero, Louisiana. With over 25 years of experience and a 6th Degree Black Belt, I'm a Master Instructor of Taekwondo with the American Taekwondo Association. I began my martial arts journey at the young age of 11 and have never looked back.

When I'm not kicking and punching, you can find me cheering on high school, college, and professional football teams. I'm a die-hard fan who loves analyzing games and interviewing coaches and players. So join me, and let's talk sports!
